The Gonzaga Basketball Shooting
Academy is a basketball
fundamentals camp for individual
players designed to provide the
necessary skills foundation for
successful team play. Each
skills session is 75 minutes of
progressive instruction during a
five week cycle. The Academy
provides a need for quality
instruction with experienced
teachers using a program focused
on fundamentals and fun! This
program is the basis for the
successful “Zag” basketball
program. The Shooting Academy
is designed for boys and girls,
grades 3rd – 8th.
Grades 3 – 5: 11:00am - 12:15pm
Grades 6 – 8:
12:30 p.m. - 1:45 p.m.

The Gonzaga Basketball
Shooting Academy is held at
Gonzaga University, Martin
Centre
$75 per session
Each session consists of one
class per week for five weeks.
Family Discount -
additional family member will
receive a discounted session
rate of $65 per child per
session
Team Rate - Team of 7
or more players receives at a
discounted session rate of $60
per player per session
Players are encouraged to
wear basketball attire and to
bring their own basketball.
Jerry Krause
Jerry Krause is currently working as
Director of Men's Basketball
Operations at Gonzaga University.
Krause had a 17-year career
as head coach at Eastern Washington University.
During that span, Eagle teams
posted a 262-196 record for a
.572 winning percentage.
Krause serves as Research
Chair of the NABC. He is
also a member of the NAIA
Basketball Coaches and National
Association for Sports and
Physical Education Halls of
Fame.
Krause has authored 27 books on coaching
basketball, produced 31
instructional videos, and 7
DVD's and serves
as a consultant to many athletic
organizations.
John Morrison
John
Morrison is a former college
basketball coach for 16 years at
the NAIA and community college
levels.
He was Honorable Mention
All-American at Northern Montana College
in 1971.
He went on to play
professionally in Holland
and Austria.
In 1974, Morrison was MVP
vs. the national Hungarian and
Romanian teams.
During his coaching
career, his teams posted a
241-170 record, and in 1992 his Casper
College team finished 11th
in the nation at the NJCAA
National tourney.
Morrison has many years
of experience coaching
basketball camps and
clinics.
